One Response to Final Proposal – “KIMEP Student Resources – on and off campus”

  1. This is a very nice proposal. I have a few suggestions for next steps:
-Do some site reviews with this particular project in mind. Look at a few sites that do something similar to what you envision to see what they do well (and not so well) and how you might adapt (or adapt away from) their example.
-Start putting together a visual site map to help with organization. It may help to create a quick site map of one of the example sites mentioned above as a model.
-Start trying to visualize your project in terms of tasks, dates, and responsibilities: what needs to get done, when, and by whom? Given the complexity and number of participants in your project, you may want to try Basecamp as a project management tool (http://www.basecamphq.com/), but you will definitely need something to structure your work processes.
-And think about your site identity. What will you call your site? And what do you think would be a good URL to use?

Just a few thoughts for now; there will be more.
